Welcome to St. Dominic's Primary School, Melton.

We are a proud Catholic learning community founded on the Gospel values and traditions of the Church and have a deep desire to provide our children and their families with an opportunity to grow in a caring, compassionate and friendly environment.

Welcome to St. Dominic's, where strive to achieve excellence in all aspects of school life. All members of our community come together to support the growth and learning of our students. We provide a caring and nurturing environment where the children can thrive, develop a passion for learning and strive to be the best person they can be. We are on an exciting journey where we learn together and celebrate each other's achievements.

We welcome all families willing to become valued members of our richly diverse community. Those who would like to send their child to St. Dominic's will be asked to take advantage of the opportunities presented to them. The staff members at St. Dominic's are committed to providing rich learning experiences for our children which will see them to grow spiritually, emotionally, academically, socially and physically. We aspire for all children to develop a deeper sense of who they are and a strong understanding of their individual strengths by the time they have finished their schooling at the end of Year 6.

At St Dominic's we work in partnership with families to educate the Catholic children of Melton. At St. Dominic's we continue to strive to develop a school environment built on respect. We believe that all children have the right to an excellent education, which enables them to become positive and active members of the school, wider Parish, local and global communities. We want the children to develop self-respect and respect of others and for the environment in which they work and live. In the tradition of St. Dominic, we aim to have each child develop a sense of courage, truth and compassion in everything we do. We believe that all children can achieve great things through hard work, determination and a sense of optimism.
